vSphere 4.0 Update Manager Stage stuck at 33%

Hi all,

  I have just tried to stage patches for two ESX hosts in the last hour.  For both I get similar results;

  In the events tab is the info I see:

  Start staging  of patch on ESXhost1                         1:07:26PM

  ESX400-2011030401-SG, ESX400-2011030402-SG,

  ESX400-2011030403-SG, ESX400-2011030404-SG,

  ESX400-2011030405-SG, ESX400-2011030407-SG   

Successully scanned on  ESXhost1 for patches.        1:07:24PM

Task: Stage Entity                                                   1:06:45PM

  The ESX hosts are VMware ESX, 4.0.0, 332073.

This stage has gone almost an hour!

Can anyone provide any insight into what's going on and how to remedy?
