Update Manager Database

Hello Everyone,

I am in the process of building a new vSphere 5.5 environment. 1 for our server side and one for our View environment. I have a vCenter for each environment, on the back end I am running SQL 2008r2 DBs. My question is, can I point both my vCenter Update managers to the same Update Manager DB? Or should I have a seperate DB for each Update manager install.
