Hello, i'm trying to install VUM on a local Oracle 11g Database on a 2008 server 64 bits.
As written in the manual, i also installed a 32 bits oracle client (10.2.0.1), created a system ODBC in %systemdrive%\Windows\SysWoW64\Odbcad32.exe (to have a 32 bits ODBC). Everything seems right in the ODBC administrator (testing connection OK ...). But when it comes to installing VCenter Update manager, the installer tells me that
"the DSN is pointing to an unsupported ODBC driver. Please re-configure"
What is wrong ? What 32 bits ODBC version should i use ?
