Hi guys,
i'am very confused about that - maybe theires is a solution.
i have following Situation.
i use the Source from UpdateManager and to Sync it to an other Destination. And theire i changed the __hostupdate20-consolidated-index__.xml to index.xml.
reason why i changed the xml on the Sync Destination is because i use the Esxi Servers to connect to it and to make Auto Remotepatching 
. (because i use PXE Kickstart Auto-Installation and use the esxcli command to remote connect) > and theire he scans for index.xml
esxcli software vib update --depot=http://xxxxxxxxxxx
only Problem is that i'am not able to get latest Updates out of the Update Manager as long as i remediate a Server.
i pushed download Task on Update Manager and he don't download vib's. i deleted the whole Repository. and again pushed download. then he create a ~8MB folder structure and no Patches.
Once i remediate a Server > he download the Vibs.
LOL wtf is that.
now i search for an Solution that i make following:
- FUlly download Patches once they are available. and not only through Remediate. this Kind of Process should be splitted.
makes no sense.
any Hints on that?
